Looking for an HIM Technician / Medical Records Clerk to assist with medical records at a large health system!
Position Responsibilities :
- The HIM Technician performs clerical / technical duties associated with medical records processes and procedures.
- This could include the retrieval, preparation, scanning, imagining, filing, quality review and indexing of paper documents.
- The HIM Technician is skilled with operating equipment and with the detailed technical aspects of their assigned duties.
Qualifications :
- Proven technical abilities (comfortable using a computer, scanning machine, navigating between multiple applications)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Proven track record of strong work ethic
- Comfortable in a fast paced environment
- Proven track record of hitting goals in the workplace
