Associate Creative Director

Media.Monks
Cincinnati, OH
$78K-$88K a year
Full-time

We are looking for a Cincy-based Associate Creative Director (Art) with a conceptual art direction background and an earned, social-first lens.

This person should be an enterprising brand nerd that is comfortable with owning 7+ CPG brands, all of which are highly regulated (rules!) and visible (household names!).

About the role

As part of our exciting new embedded team, you'll be required to sit on-site at the client's headquarters in Cincinnati, along with our project management and account embeds.

The client's current RTO plan is 3 days on-site and 2 days WFH - however, you should plan on being on-site daily.

As this is a next-level client-facing role (you'll see them every day, so buddy up), you must be comfortable presenting to and collaborating with them.

You'll also be required to follow their corporate policies.

But you will not be alone!

Along with your fellow PM and AT embeds, you'll report directly to our NYC-based agency leadership and will work lockstep with them and our staff across North and Latin America.

In other words, you're one of us and will work closely with us virtually. We're here to support you morally - and, of course, in all the ways that set you up for success on this account.

About the work

We'll be real, it's not for the faint of heart. But if working on a lot of different types of projects across different brands excites you, then keep reading :

This is a high-volume content creation remit, with day-to-day responsibilities focused on adapting existing upper-funnel creative into assets / content that are both on-brand and fit for format.

While the majority of your role will be the oversight of content production, you will have opportunities to conceptualize original social content, run tabletop shoots and dive into mid- to upper-funnel campaigns.

Requirements

Highly communicative

Given this unique working relationship, we always want you to say more and stay close with your NYC colleagues.

Self-starter

You will have full agency support, but will be the only creative on the ground. As such, you need to be comfortable running the local show.

Digital-first experience

You'll work across assets in different formats and for different platforms.

Shoot experience

Ideally tabletop. You'll have the support of your creative lead to get you up and running.

Post-production experience

You'll collaborate with editors and animators from time to time, so it's ideal that you can speak their professional lingo.

You'll have the support of your creative lead here too.

Open to periodic travel

We'd love for you to come hang with the NYC-based team a couple of times a year. Shoots may be anywhere from Virtual to IRL, from Toronto to Mexico City.
