- Work with accounting staff to identify scope of the subject property.
- Obtain an understanding of the work to be performed and the purpose of the work.
- Perform substantive and analytical review of the property involved.
- Set up travel to site to meet with clients, study the property, and acquire pictures. 10-15% Travel required.
- Organize all relevant engineering documents (drawings, appraisals, site photos) in preparation for the analysis.
- Preform detailed take off of the subject property using RS Mean data and Microsoft Excel Model.
- Work with accounting staff to add / subtract from completed take off as needed.
Qualifications :
- Good Computer skills with a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
- Minimum 5 years of Estimating Experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Engineering Technology. Mechanical, Electrical.
- Must be able to read blueprints, have base knowledge of all aspects of a commercial building (Structural, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Lighting)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities and abilities to learn on the go.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
