Personal Lines Account Manager - P&C Insurance

AssuredPartners is adding to our team in Austin,TX! The Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager is responsible for providing customer service by handling the day to day operations of clients' insurance needs.

Focusing on Middle Market, Home and Auto, and other Personal Lines insurance coverage. The Personal Lines Account Manager will also provide support to Agency personnel that includes assisting in selling and marketing involving new or existing business.

This is not a direct sales role, the focus is on support and client servicing). This is a hybrid role - Tuesday and Wednesday in office.

What You'll Do

Client SupportMaintain accurate client information to provide day-to-day client support and address intermediate-level client inquiries while delivering exceptional customer care.

Assist in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. Recognize and satisfy carrier goals and objectives to enhance business relationships.

Account ManagementMaintain files with proper records according to company procedures. Follow company procedures to achieve positive audit results.

Ensure accuracy of account information for new and renewal policies in accordance with client requests, processing change requests and endorsement checking, addressing proper exposures for policy rating, completing coverage reviews and gap analysis, and accurately transacting agency bill policies.

Review all accounts receivable and policy cancellation notices according to Agency procedures recognizing that the Agency must process in a timely manner.

Monitor renewal premium increases for remarketing based on the agency’s retention strategies.Secure documentation needed to be retained by the agency including signed applications, replacement cost estimates, rejection of coverage and confirmation of orders.

Insurance ExpertiseLeverage technical knowledge to ensure carrier quotes are received in a timely fashion; Review quotes for gaps and assists with inquiries from the carrier.

Attend training and seek self-directed learning to continue education in industry and technical knowledge.

What You'll Need

• 2+ years of related experience and / or training preferred
• Property and Casualty License
• Working knowledge of available personal lines coverages based on business and industry
• Problem solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in use of Agency Management software, or demonstrated skill at quickly learning new

systems

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentation

software
