Our intensive care unit at Piedmont Newton offers the following advanced therapeutic modalities : Targeted Temperature Management post-cardiac arrest Invasive and Non-Invasive Hemodynamic Monitoring HemodialysisManagement of patients having or requiring : Carotid Endarterectomies (CEA) Sepsis and multi-system organ failure Heart Failure Management Pulmonary Hypertension Ventilator management Continuous bipap management Post-surgical managementThe critical care unit at Piedmont Newton uses : Bedside report handoff at change of shift Purposeful Rounding for safety and service Quality initiatives such as pain assessment and reassessment, pressure ulcer prevention, infection prevention strategies for central lines and indwelling urinary catheters, etc.
