SafeHaven is seeking a Marketing Coordinator. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Director of Communications and is responsible for advancing SafeHaven’s brand through the creation of both digital and print content.
This position has significant responsibilities, including overseeing the agency’s social media platforms and creating a comprehensive digital content calendar.
This position also serves as a liaison for SafeHaven’s program teams to understand their individual marketing needs and is responsible for finding client stories to share SafeHaven’s impact with funders and the broader community.
This position works with the Director of Communications to assist in the planning and execution of larger marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Working in the domestic violence field can be hard but we can do hard things.The specific qualifications for this role are :
- Sensitivity to the issue of domestic violence is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, public relations or relevant program
- Minimum of 1+ years of applicable work experience, nonprofit experience preferred
- Aptitude for social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
- Ability to utilize design programs Adobe Creative Suite and Canva preferred
- Excellent written, editing and verbal communication skills
- Flexible hours are required. Some evening and weekend work will be required.
- Ability to bring positivity to a shared office space
