About the role

This exciting opportunity as Manager, Workforce Management will be a key driver in developing forecasts and best in class labor model for MyEyeDr.

s 800+ role will be responsible for delivering significant business value to MED and its will partner with cross-functional teams to develop an enterprise effort to support and modernize the Workforce Optimizations systems, processes, reporting, and practices for its field operations team.

You will partner with field leaders to drive optimal labor and scheduling behaviors.

The Manager will need to drive the partnership between Professional Services, Operations, Human Resources & Finance teams.

Using strong communication skills, analytics, and best practices to build a solid foundation in developing relationships to bridge departments in solving operational, budget, and strategic programs in a fast-paced environment.

A successful candidate will be a hands-on manager and will lead efforts to support MyEyeDr. offices in forecasting, administrating, and reporting on store payroll and scheduling.

This position will interface directly with field and home office leaders. This role will report directly to the Vice President, Store Analytics and Workforce Optimization.

This is a hybrid remote role, offering a flexible work arrangement out of either our Raleigh, NC or Vienna, VA offices.

You Will

  • Develop cross functional partnerships with regional, district and home office partners to develop labor model to drive productivity.
  • Lead the improvements of the functionalities within the Workforce Optimization system.
  • Partner with Learning and Development to effectively train field leaders around quality scheduling and efficiency using the WFM system.
  • Represent the Workforce Optimization team as a subject matter expert to cross-functional and project teams.
  • Continuously improve internal labor model to ensure proper allocation of hours and for each store.
  • Forecast labor drivers and requirements for all offices while determining financial impact of various staffing scenarios and refine forecast accuracy to capture opportunities.
  • Develop office census guidelines and work cross functionally to implement.
  • Utilize sales and productivity projections to improve alignment between headcount and business demand.
  • Regularly inform senior leadership on identified areas of staffing opportunity and risk to drive accountability in worked hours and census compliance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with home office departments to ensure proper resource planning.
  • Oversight of staffing models and related staff reporting while gaining alignment from senior field leadership.
  • Partnership with Integrations team on new offices joining MyEyeDr. in relation to labor model, office schedules and other data pieces.
  • Strategic management and analysis of new office staff requisitions.
  • Work closely with MyEyeDr. department leaders on alignment of office schedules, process implementation, and communication.
  • Build and maintain workflow documentation and libraries for team processes while managing all master resources.
  • Partnership with Operations teams for hours of operations changes, both long term and short term to support business operations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of office real estate restrictions and nuances in relation to patient care.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Workforce Management or Resource Planning experience.
  • 5+ years of Program / Project Management experience.
  • 5+ years of Healthcare or Retail Operations experience.
  • Proven success in change management and implementing Labor / Workforce management processes and tools / systems.
  • Ability to formulate strategy and roadmap for building, strengthening, and delivering a center of excellence framework for workforce management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to utilize data as a guiding force in decision making partnered with strong communication skills for presentation / story telling.
  • Broad knowledge of labor laws and best practice scheduling rules.
  • Travel up to 15% of the time may be required.
