Saint Rita School in Alexandria, Virginia, is a Catholic School in the Classical tradition. We are a small and close knit community (one class per grade) with a highly educated, motivated, and collaborative faculty.
Our one remaining classroom opening for 2024-2025 is in our 5th grade a favorite age for many since they are capable of reason but not yet experiencing the challenges of adolescence! Our 5th graders study the Ancient World, and this position involves a mix of subjects including literature, history, writing, math, and religion.
Candidates must be practicing Catholics and hold a Bachelor’s Degree; some classical experience is ideal. Candidates must have a good rapport with children and strong classroom management, but a teaching license is not required (it can be earned on the job).
