The candidate will be responsible for planning, leading, organizing and motivating teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering big data initiatives and programs.

The role will also contribute to defining and implementing Big Data Strategy for the organization along with driving the implementation of IT solutions for the business.

The candidate will be working on a big data team to focus on applying data engineering, data science and machine learning approaches to solve business problems.

As a Delivery Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping our data-driven strategies and contributing to the success of our Big Data initiatives at ADC.

You will be responsible for driving the cross-functional big data programs and advanced data science solutions to uncover customer, product and operational insights from complex datasets.

You will assist with the strategy, design, prioritization, roadmap management and defining and delivery of releases.

Responsibilities

Program Management :

Drive both internal and external team members to define and meet our clients' and organization data and analytics requirements

Accountable for the delivery of all products and services for Data Services consistent with planned deliverables

Develops and maintains project and product roadmaps

Manages concurrent, high visibility products / projects / services using agile methods in a fast-paced environment that will cross teams and business divisions

Collaboration :

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Global Strategic Marketing, Quality, etc. to identify data needs, gather requirements and provide data-driven solutions aligned with business strategy

Work on a cross-functional team of data engineering, data science, etc. to deliver big data initiatives and data programs

Enablement & Delivery :

Provide training and support to team and business partners to enhance data literacy

Define and implement complex processes to support delivery of big data initiatives and programs

Set and measure success criteria for our data services

Maintains overarching responsibility for executing best practices approaches and methodologies (ex : Agile / Scrum, SAFe) for the support and delivery of solutions

Innovate :

Stay updated with the latest developments in data science and machine learning to continually improve the team’s data service solutions

Identify opportunities for innovation and propose data-driven solutions

Documentation :

Maintain comprehensive requirements and design documentation including user stories, use case, data flow diagrams, etc.

Ownership over documentation with our Product Lifecyle Management System to ensure seamless and compliant software releases

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree plus at least 4-6 years of recent experience

In-depth knowledge of project planning techniques and working knowledge of automated project planning tools

Process-oriented thinking, focused on continuous improvement and lessons learned

Strong knowledge of data governance principles, data integration, data warehousing and ETL processes

Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations, such as HIPAA and GDPR

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical information into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders

Comfortable working asynchronously with a distributed team

Preferred Qualifications

Education in, or experience with, data science, AI / ML, data engineering, etc.

Experience with data analytic environments and / or data intelligence platforms like Databricks, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry

Experience as a Technical Product Owner

Experience working in an agile environment

The base pay for this position is $83,600.00 $(phone number removed). In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
