About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Stream Design Engineer to join our Surface Water Group as part of the Environmental, Planning, and Compliance (EP&C) Division.

You will participate with project teams, lead individual projects, and provide stormwater compliance, planning, and design project deliverables for a range of federal, state, and local clients including FHWA, EPA, Ecology, WSDOT, SDOT, Sound Transit, Kitsap County, Thurston County, Pierce County, and King County.

As part of the Surface Water Group, you will report to the Surface Water Group Leader and work with our EP&C, Transportation, Community Building, and Water Divisions.

This full-time position allows for in-office or hybrid options reporting to office locations in Seattle, Bremerton, or Puyallup, WA.

You Will :

  • Lead technical projects focused on stream design, planning, and compliance.
  • Manage client relationships and pursue new project opportunities.
  • Manage project teams, project scopes, and budgets.
  • Provide quality control and quality assurance for project teams.
  • Mentor engineers in training.

You Have :

  • 10+ years of experience with a Washington PE license.
  • Stream design permitting and compliance expertise.
  • Stream design planning and design expertise.
  • Demonstrated client management and project management experience.

Compensation Information : Base salary for this position is in the range of $150,000 to $190,000+. Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role.
