Job Description :
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled RN for a Med / Surg / Telemetry travel assignment in Syracuse, NY. This position involves working night shifts in adult Med / Surg units, with duties including IV insertion, lab draws, and telemetry monitoring.
Candidates with Level 1 or 2 trauma experience and familiarity with EPIC Electronic Medical Records are preferred. The role requires working every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major seasonal holidays.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer patient care in Med / Surg units, including starting IVs and performing lab draws.
- Monitor and respond to telemetry data and patient conditions.
- Use EPIC Electronic Medical Records for accurate documentation.
- Deliver patient care with minimal orientation and supervision.
- Adhere to a schedule of every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major seasonal holidays.
Qualifications :
- Active New York State RN Registration required.
- BLS certification required; must be able to recertify.
- At least 1.5 years of recent experience in an acute care setting.
- Experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma centers is preferred.
- Proficiency with EPIC Electronic Medical Records is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation.
