Description

ALL, Inc. has immediate openings for Delivery Drivers to work as part of a delivery team to deliver appliances throughout the Twin Cities.

ALL, Inc is one of the largest distributors of appliances and cabinets in the Midwest. The Delivery Driver delivers appliances to our customers, which include both newly constructed and existing single-family and multi-family homes.

This is a non-CDL, full-time (Monday-Friday) position with benefits including health, dental, life, disability, and 401(k).

Drive a company vehicle from point A to point B of a pre-determined delivery schedule to ensure the proper delivery of product, while managing safety on the road, including the safety of the truck, the product on the truck, other drivers on the road, and the passenger (delivery helper).

Work with a partner to deliver appliances / cabinets to our customers. In addition, take necessary measures to ensure both product and delivery locations are not damaged.

Act as the customer service liaison in the field by representing All, Inc. in a professional, courteous manner.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive truck to all delivery points designated on route

Deliver appliances and cabinets (includes installation of some appliances)

Provide Customer Service at deliveries

Communicate delivery status with warehouse manager

Maintain safety of company vehicle, contents of the vehicle, and delivery helper

Comply with all traffic, DOT, and FMCSA laws and regulations

Follow all delivery policies and procedures

Other duties as assigned by management

EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING / JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Valid Drivers License, clean driving record, and DOT Medical Card

High school diploma or GED is required

Ability to read a Map Book / GPS and / or knowledge of delivery areas

Previous delivery experience is desired

Self-motivated, flexible, ability to problem solve in the field

Proven customer service skills, professional appearance

WORKING CONDITIONS AND REQUIRED PHYSICAL EFFORT

Drive four to six hours a day

Manage road conditions, weather, and construction conditions

Consistently lift, push and pull 100 200 pound appliances, using appliance straps and / or dolly

Occasionally lift, push, and pull up to 800 pounds (with partners), using appliance straps and / or dolly
