Job Description

Imagine being part of a team that shapes the skyline and revolutionizes energy systems. As a member of Olsson's Transmission and Distribution (Power Delivery) team, you’ll contribute to the intricate network of poles and wires crisscrossing the skies.

Our work involves more than just improving the visual landscape; we upgrade electrical systems to meet future energy demands.

Join our dynamic Power Delivery team as a Transmission Design Engineer in our Joplin, Overland Park, or Omaha offices. This role involves developing your expertise in electrical distribution, substation design, and protection and control systems.

You will support senior engineers in all project phases, from planning to construction administration, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Design and analyze innovative power delivery systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on exciting projects.
  • Participate in site visits and field inspections.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation.
  • Continuously learn and grow professionally.

Qualifications

You are passionate about :

  • Using your talents to positively affect communities

You bring to the team :

  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • Four or more years of engineering design experience.
  • Registered professional engineer (PE), a plus.
