Insight Global Health is hiring a dedicated medical assistant for a cardiology group in the Irvine, CA area. Candidate will work with one cardiologist, performing both front and back office duties.
This will include phones, scheduling appointments, as well as performing EKG's, vitals, rooming and responding to patient's medical needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience within EMR systems and ability to process insurance eligibility and authentication for cardiac ultrasounds and similar tests and procedures.
Requirements :
- 2 years in medical assistant role
- Back office and front office experience
- Experienced in EMR systems ideally e-clerical but open to someone with experience in other systems
- Ability to process insurance, authorization and eligibility
- Experience with EKG's and vital signs
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- MA background in cardiology
- CMA or CCMA
