Responsibilities
- Prepare patient in exam room, document / update medical history.
- Take vital signs : temperature, weight, height, blood pressure,
- Provide phlebotomy, EKG,
- Assist Echo technician in the procedure room
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Update and file medical records.
- Verify patient s insurance eligibility.
- Request insurance prior-authorization for procedures
- Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services.
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
- Clean exam rooms and medical instruments.
- Maintained supplies in exam rooms and phlebotomy and lab supplies.
Skill
- Provide working experience as a medical assistant
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service-oriented
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
Education / Experience :
- Medical Scribe Certification / Medical background.
- Chinese or Spanish knowledge is a plus.
Job Type : Full-time / Part-time
Pay : $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
