We are currently looking to add a Structural Engineer to our team. As a Structural Engineer, your responsibilities will include :

Responsibilities
Analyze and prepare project designs, calculations and drawings for steel bridges; pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete bridges;
cast-in-place flat slabs; and miscellaneous structures, with guidance provided on assigned tasks as required.
- Effectively apply pre-established design templates.
- Approach tasks with an open mindset; propose innovative solutions to design problems.
- Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review.
- May assign, track, and review tasks of technicians or designers; technical discretion applied to first revision of technician work product.
- Potential to serve as the Engineer-of-Record on assigned engineering tasks.
- Responsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members, internal design groups, and external entities including clients, subconsultants, and relevant government agencies.
- Effectively present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external parties.
- Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely personal resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns.
- Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports.
- Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals.
- Contribute to the development of other team members through mentorship and modeling positive behaviors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Emphasis on Structural Engineering preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE).
- Years of Experience : 4+ years.
