Postdoctoral Position in Hematology-Oncology Spellman Lab 2024-2025

The Spellman lab in the Departments of Medicine and Human Genetics at UCLA is recruiting talented postdoctoral fellows with an interest in modern human cancer genetics ranging from chromosome manipulations to genomic data analysis, to population health studies.
The Spellman lab is part of the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Institute of Precision Health at UCLA and is also a member of collaborative groups such as the NCI's Genome Data Analysis Network and the Inherited Cancer Syndrome Collaborative.
The Spellman lab has substantial resources for projects involving cancer genome sequencing, large data analysis, and population genetics.
Outstanding postdoctoral fellows with interests in these areas should apply with a 500-word description of the types of research they are most excited in pursuing that falls within the broad field of human cancer genetics.
Outstanding postdoctoral candidates with strong visions for their work will be well supported.
A Ph.D. in Genetics, Bioinformatics, or Computational Biology is required.
Responsibilities : Develop and lead an outstanding research endeavor focused on the field of cancer genetics.
