Assistant General Manager

As a senior leader in this position, you will make sure that all moving, and relocation services are provided effectively and to the greatest possible standard.
Key Responsibilities of the Assistant General Manager position include, but are not limited to :
- Oversee daily operations to guarantee efficient workflow and superior customer service.
- Assist team members by offering direction, instruction, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the planning and execution of relocation and moving projects, making sure that all work is done on schedule and within the allocated budget.
- Create and put into action operational initiatives that will improve productivity, quality of service, and customer happiness.
- Monitor and evaluate operational metrics to pinpoint problem areas and put fixes in place.
- Work together with internal divisions to improve operations and address any problems, such as customer service and logistics.
- Promptly and professionally address and resolve escalated client complaints or issues.
- Compile and deliver operational reports to the general manager for planning and assessment.
- To keep a competitive edge, keep up with industry changes, laws, and best practices.
- Constantly make sure that corporate rules, practices, and safety requirements are followed.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Prior management experience in the moving and relocation industry.
- Strong leadership qualities and the capacity to inspire and lead a group of people.
- Proficient communication abilities both in writing and speaking.
- Outstanding attention to detail and organizing abilities.
- Expertise in operating software and project management.
- Thorough understanding of industry norms, standards, and best practices.
