Qualifications :
- 18 years of age or older.
- Driver’s license (Valid and insurable with our insurance carrier).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of background requirements.
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed.
- Obtain and maintain all required certifications (all provided during your paid training).
Primary Job Duties :
- Provide direct care to adults with developmental disabilities.
- Assist with personal care tasks including all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, medical monitoring, and ambulation.
- Assist with all aspects of maintaining a healthy and clean environment including cleaning, laundry, general upkeep, grocery shopping, banking, and community activities.
- Transportation to shopping, appointments, and fun activities in the community.
- Establish and maintain support / companionship with the individuals we serve.
