TITLE : VP of Digital Product
LOCATION : Hybrid to Lincolnshire or downtown Chicago, Illinois
PAY : Target pay for this role is between $200-300k total compensation (Base + Bonus)
ENGAGEMENT TYPE : Direct Hire
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- This is a VP of Digital Product and Strategy.
- Responsible for all consumer facing technology requiring cross-functional collaboration with business owners, marketing, IT, and other enterprise stakeholders to ensure an aligned roadmap as well as resource allocation and prioritization.
- Act as the company’s expert in product strategy.
- Partner in all aspects of product delivery with product owners, designers, developers, operations, analytics, marketing, legal, finance, accounting, HR, and other teams as needed.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 10+ years in product management across a breadth of digital product offerings
- 5 + years in a senior product leadership capacity
- Human capital management (HCM) experience and proven record of growing team members.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in product, business, computer science, development or related field.
- Proven experience in leading multiple types of projects concurrently.
- Retail Experience.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
There is no brick and mortar for this organization. Consumers are reached through contact centers and digital products only.
The three types of digital products are :
- Product as a function of the business (ecommerce sites where members sign up for subscriptions, or SEO content for supporting internal business strategies in service of someone else).
- Product as a function (Supporting internal operating team or supporting the EVP by building strategy around things in support of the enterprise.
Account structures and / or features for all products).
Product as a business (Two money makers that require P+ L responsibility. 1. a rental platform and 2. a reservation system with subscription access).
This person will have ownership of the digital product strategy for all three areas. They need experience managing multiple different types of products in parallel with different stake holders.
Must have the ability to work with product marketing to get the products out to more individuals and drive them to use the functions of the product.
They will have ownership of the entire product ecosystem including all consumer facing websites and mobile applications.
