The practice is committed to providing pat i ent-centric care and performs thorough exams to detect ocular conditions and systemic issues.

The team leverages advanced diagnostic technology , including an integrated Topcon autorefractor / topographer with a digital phoropter , optical coherence tomography, fundus photos , and Zeiss FDT.

About the Optometrist Opening

Otay Ranch Eyeworks is seeking a well- rounded Optometrist p assionate about providing personalized and individualized care to ensure excellent eye health .

You ' ll practice full-scope optometry and promote good eye health and the importance of annual eye exams through patient education.

The position is 40 hours weekly with some weekend work- approximat el y 16 to 18 patients are cared for daily. The practice is looking for a friendly team play who enjoys working with patients and discussing prescribed lenses based on their occupation and lifestyle.

A candidate experienced in scleral contact lenses, dry eye, and the ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking patients will be an asset to the team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with like-minded peers and collaborate with other Optometrists in the community through social events.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety.

The ideal candidate will want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and be willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.

M inimum qualifications include :

Optometry license in the state of California

Preferred qualifications include :

Contact lens fitting

Dry eye experience

Spanish-speaking capabilities
