Night Crew 6 : 45PM to 7AM 2 / 2 / 3 Schedule.
This position is for our Wilmington Location.
Maintenance Tech II Starting Pay : $27 per hour.
Maintenance Tech III Starting Pay : $30.50 per hour.
Core Responsibilities :
- Ensures production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times
- Assists in developing and prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision and Line Leads.
- Completes work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager, Productions Management / Supervision, and / or Operators.
- Supports workplace organization programs (6S) and production efficiency programs (TPM).
- Assists, coaches, and trains operators in daily preventative maintenance (CIL) checks
- Supports and assists preventative maintenance process on the shift
- Contributes and assists in line commissioning after maintenance / process events
- Assists and participates with other plant projects as needed
- Operates in a manner that provides value to the team
- Performs additional duties as needed and / or assigned by supervision / management
Qualifications :
- Experience : 0 plus years of experience in role of Maintenance Tech I
- Computer Skills : Computer skills to include : Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Proven experience in working unassisted with and troubleshooting : Electrical, Electronic, Motor
Controller Drives, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
- Strong background in manufacturing systems in dynamic fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of extrusion process, twin screw setup, blending system a plus
- Knowledge of PLC Logic technology, a plus
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings; Strong decision making, analytical skills and
proven ability to work cross-functionally
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
- Strong mathematical skills; Success in planning, executing and managing projects
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upward and downward to a wide range of
audiences
Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24 / 7
manufacturing environment
Education Requirements :
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Advanced education and / or related-certification(s), a plus
- Certifications & Licenses : Will meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech"s TrainingResources and Knowledge (TRAK) programCompletion of two year Maintenance Certification courseStick and wire welding experience required with structural welding certification, a plusForklift experience required with the ability to complete TT Forklift Certification program
