AR/Collections Specialist to $70K

Join our small, family-owned business as a Collections Specialist and make a real impact by managing soft collections and building strong client relationships! This is a full-time, in-office role where you'll handle a portfolio of 2,500 clients in the restaurant and medical industries, ensuring timely payments and resolving outstanding balances.

You'll make around 40 customer service-oriented calls per day, addressing payment issues to avoid service interruptions, with a focus on solution-minded collections.

Your role will involve managing accounts receivable, focusing on restaurant clients who require frequent follow-ups and medical clients who may need reminders due to insurance payment delays.

You'll handle aged accounts (90-121 days overdue), resolve invoice discrepancies, and document all collection efforts in the AS400 system.

You’ll receive training from our CFO, but we’re looking for someone with practical collections experience who can hit the ground running.

The ideal candidate is familiar with the AS400 system (or willing to learn), comfortable working with multiple screens, and excels at keeping detailed records.
