Travel Nurse (RN) - Pediatric CVICU - San Diego, California - 888767

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - CVPICU 48's

Shift : Variable or Straight Nights , 12x4, 48 hrs per week, will also consider 36's

Length : 13 weeks

Must be available to work 2 out of 3 holidays

Weekend Requirements : 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. For night shift it is any combination of Fri / Sat nights and for day shift it is Sat / Sun.

Others :

• Willing to float between units
• Traveler could be floated to every unit except OR, PACU and ED. The units include PICU, NICU, medical, surgical, hem / onc, medical behavioral unit
• Ratio : 1 : 1-2
• Flu shot required
• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline) : Not Required
• Accepts locals

DON'T SUBMIT IF TRAVELER DOES NOT HAVE PEDS EXPERIENCE. Okay to submit if not within a dedicated Childrens facility.

RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post

Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested

Shifts : (discussed in interview)

• 3x12 variable or straight night shifts, 36x48 available
• Weekend Requirements : 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. For night shift it is any combination of Fri / Sat nights and for day shift it is Sat / Sun.
• 13 week contracts

Requested Time Off :

6 days total (must still get 3 shifts in week)

Must be available to work 2 out of 3 holidays

Self scheduling!

Ratio : 1 : 1-2

Unit Summary : 30-37 beds. Seeing post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VAD's and ECMO.

Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice. Patients can range from neonatal up to 23.
