Civil Project Engineer

TechConnect is seeking a Civil Engineer PM for an industry leading organization that is located in Oklahoma City, OK. We are looking for an experienced CE that has a proven track record with site, land and / or municipal infrastructure design projects.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with current customers (create, build and strengthen customer relationships), manage projects, manage others and provide practical and timely engineering solutions for our clients current and future customers.

As a CEPM you will we responsible for planning, developing and directing complex engineering projects. You will take direction from the Principal and put projects into action with very little supervision.

To be successful in this role you need excellent oral / written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills along with a strong understanding of projects and profitability so that you can work effectively with leadership and customers.

You must be willing to accept increasing levels of responsibility while demonstrating continued and progressive technical and leadership training.

You need problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to plan, coordinate and evaluate activities, and drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications / Education / Technology

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering or relevant experience. Individuals with 6-10 years of land development, civil design or site civil design experience highly preferred.
• PE license in Oklahoma or eligibility for licensure by comity.
• Experience with public and / or municipal projects is preferred.
• Must be able to work with a variety of customers, understand scheduling, managing project timelines, setting proper internal and customer expectations, and meet projected timelines.
• Highly proficient designing sites, grading sites, ability to communicate if a recommended solution will or will not work.
• Strong understanding and knowledge in U.S. and local design codes and standards.
• Experience working in the Oklahoma City area and surrounding communities is highly desired for this position.
• Experience working with quick serve chains is a plus.
• Must be technically proficient in engineering systems, materials and procedures.
• Must be highly proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Not a plus, a must.
• Bluebeam Software experience is a plus.
• Experience with HEC-RAS.
• HMS modeling software experience is a plus.

Work Location / Travel

Our clients office is located in the Oklahoma City area. This position allows for a hybrid work schedule (two days working from home and three days working in the office ).

Schedule is subject to change based on a customer visit or meeting.

Minimal travel.
