Job Summary :
The Department of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine’s mission is to provide outstanding, cutting-edge clinical care, world class research, and state-of-the-art training.
The Department is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified otolaryngologist head & neck surgeon with subspecialty training in rhinology to join the full-time faculty.
The expectation is this faculty member will support and excel in all the key mission areas of our academic department : clinical care, education and training, scholarship, and service.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
- Clinical service in the field of rhinology, with the primary location for this position being the University of Colorado Hospital on the Anschutz Medical Campus as well as surrounding community network of care sites.
- Clinical focus on both inflammatory disease and broad rhinology care as well as endoscopic skull base surgery as part of our comprehensive team.
- Teaching and mentoring of residents, medical students, and other related trainees, with an expectation of starting a rhinology & skull base surgery fellowship by 2026.
- Faculty expectation for regular academic, scholarship, and research activities toward academic promotion.
- Join and contribute to a highly productive group of 3 MDs, 2 PAs, and 1NP dedicated to the subspeciality of rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery with outstanding national and international reputation.
