This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill temporary, hourly assignments on an as-needed basis. Departments or divisions will refer to the POOL of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as the need arises.

You will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department / division be interested in scheduling an interview.

Provide one-on-one tutoring to EOPS / CARE, CalWORKs and other Equity programs students. Subjects tutoring will vary (Math 110 Statistics and basic skills math courses).

Applicant must have completed MATH 110 (Elementary Statistics) or above with an A or strong B and a letter of recommendation from the instructor is required.

Applicant must have good communication skills. Minimum Qualifications 1. GPA.

2. A or B grade in classes to be tutored.

3. Recommendation from instructor for each subject area.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 1. Provide one-on-one tutoring to EOPS / CARE, CalWORKs and other Equity programs students.

2. Arrive on time at work, be present and engaged during work.3. Must be flexible, reliable, and open to learning and growing.

4. Attend and participate in team meeting twice a semester. Preferred Qualifications 1. Statistics Math 110 or higher. License(s) & Other Requirements Working Environment : Physical Demands Hazards Conditions of Employment The person holding this position is required to be present on Mt.
