At AVS Equine, we strive to provide outstanding veterinary services along with exceptional customer satisfaction. We are the only full-service hospital for horses within miles of Tallahassee, and have a robust client base, ranging from companions to elite performance athletes.

Our facility is on 35 beautiful rolling acres of pasture, with a 26, square foot state of the art hospital, with two surgical suites, separate induction and recovery rooms, large digital x-ray room, extensive treatment areas, covered stallion collection area, two climate controlled neonatal stalls, 20 mare and foal stalls, and several paddocks.

The Ideal Candidate :

• Graduate of an AVMA accredited veterinary school with eligibility for Florida licensure.
• Preferred : Veterinary Internship experience (Exceptional candidates with extensive equestrian backgrounds will also be considered)
• Willingness to participate in the after-hours emergency call rotation (equitable split amongst all veterinarians).
• Enthusiasm for all aspects of equine veterinary medicine, eagerness for continued growth and development, excellent communication and client relationship skills, and a true passion for horses!

With this position, we offer a competitive compensation of $-k, dependent on experience, signing bonus, equitable split of emergency duty, fully equipped ambulatory vehicle, coverage of state licensing fees, AAEP & AVMA membership fees, $3k in CE allowance, fully subsidized health, dental, and vision insurance, PLIT, support of your professional goals, work-life integration and so much more!
