About The Position
Job Title : EEG Technician Job Specialty : Neurophysiology Diagnostics Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Pediatric experience is a must License : Valid State License required (specific licensing conditions apply) Certifications : EEG Registration preferred Must-Have : Comfort with EEG reading and pattern recognition Job Description : - Perform EEG monitoring with precision and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. - Set up Long-Term Monitoring (LTM) EEG studies for pediatric patients.
- Work a night shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week. - Adhere to health and safety regulations, including flu vaccination requirements.
- Participate in orientation and training, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols. - Will be required to work two out of three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
- Flexibility to float within the hospital or to affiliated hospitals as needed. - Complete required modules prior to starting the position.
- Maintain facial grooming that complies with fit testing requirements. - Follow guidelines on time off requests, ensuring minimal disruption to contract terms.
This position requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, patient-focused environment.
