Home Health Physical Therapist/PTA

Physical Therapist Responsibilities include :

• Providing physical therapy services to patients in their homes
• Developing and implementing effective treatment plans
• Enhancing patient mobility
• Improving overall quality of life
• Supervising physical therapy assistants

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities include :

• Providing direct physical therapy according to directions of a qualified physical therapist
• Aiding patients in therapeutic exercises
• Observing client's progress and response to treatment
• Assisting in preparing clinical notes and progress reports

Qualifications :

• Physical Therapist
• Graduate from a School of Physical Therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the Physical Therapy Association
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
• At least two (2) years' experience in an acute hospital or equivalent experience (preferred)
• Physical Therapist Assistant
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program approved by American Physical Therapy Association, Inc.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• At least one (1) years' experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant (preferred)
• Must possess current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance
