Responsible for promoting and restoring patient's health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care, directing and developing staff, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staffs and providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
Principal Accountabilities :
1. Identifies patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
2. Maintains nursing operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
3. Assures quality of care by developing and interpreting hospital and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care.Â
4. Maintains and manages nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training nurses and auxiliary staff.Â
5. Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families and promoting patient's independence by establishing patient care goals and providing information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests.
6. Protects patients and employees by developing and interpreting infection-control policies and protocols, enforcing medication administration, storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
7. Maintains documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records and maintains patient confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
8. Achieves financial objectives and ensures emergency equipment availability / nursing supplies and completing preventive maintenance requirements.Â
9. Maintains professional and technical knowledge and maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams.Â
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required : 1. BSN required.

2. BLS and ACLS Certification.
3. 2-5 years of experience in Nursing, or relevant area which includes experience in Basic Dysrhythmia.Â
4. HRO training.
