Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Warehouse Manager will oversee the management of 3PL operations and warehouse functions, with direct accountability for the P&L of warehouse accounts.
This role involves cultivating strong relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and to uphold a positive brand reputation.
The Warehouse Manager will also be tasked with ensuring operational efficiency and continuous improvement within the warehouse environment.
The Warehouse Manager will also be responsible for :
Warehouse Management :
- Manage the performance of the core activities of the distribution center by setting KPI’s.
- Manage inbound flow, put away strategy and ensure warehouse space and storage optimization.
- Develop strategies to control operational costs and the cost of labor in order to meet budget requirements.
What you offer :
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in Warehouse Management, preferable in a Transportation and 3PL facility.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
- Experience with Warehouse management systems (WMS) and Transportation management systems (TMS).
- Experience and interest in process improvement and optimization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in developing and setting KPI’s and managing the P&L.
