LaSalle Network is partnering with a leading company in the hopes of hiring a Senior Manager, Food & Science. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years' experience along with a BS, Masters, or PhD in Food Science.
This person will have excellent time management skills and the ability to compile project reports.
Senior Manager, Food & Science Responsibilities :
Takes charge of designing and implementing project methodologies for diverse product development initiatives, covering areas such as sugar confectionery, chocolate confectionery, ingredient applications and mogul depositing technology
Guides efforts across all product platforms
Collaborates with R&D, Engineering and Manufacturing teams to execute projects, facilitate technology transfer and address challenges.
Records, observes and assesses experimental data
Compiles project reports
Collaborates with technical and professional teams in manufacturing, operations, quality, procurement and marketing
Collaborates with Quality and Regulatory Compliance, supporting plant QA on quality issues
Enhances technical capabilities of domestic ingredient vendors and evaluates contract manufacturing opportunities
Actively contributes to the Innovation process, providing leadership and ideas for products and processes
Engages with vendors, suppliers, and contract manufacturers
Ensures compliance with company policies, embodies core values and performs assigned duties
Senior Manager, Food & Science Requirements :
BS, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Food Science or related field
5-10 years in the food industry or a related field
Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word), Spreadsheets and SA
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrates a drive for results, consistently exceeding goals
Handles ambiguity effectively, adapting to change seamlessly
Pays attention to detail
Works well collaboratively and independently
Efficient time management
