Position Summary
The Chef's primary responsibility will be to create restaurant quality entrees and desserts and oversee the dining staff. Essential Functions
- Prepare meals and desserts that are appetizing in appearance and taste.
- Plan and prepare inspired gourmet creations for our many Events held at our facility year-round.
- Utilize knowledge of ordered diets (i.e., No Concentrated Sweets (NCS), Consistent Carbohydrate Diet, (CCD)) as well as food consistency orders.
- Show compassions for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Prepare nutritious, seasonal menus according to dietary guidelines.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- At least 2 years serving as a Chef with experience in preparing and cooking food in large quantities.
- Must be Serve-Safe Certified.
- Must pass background check.
- Must have an energetic personality and the desire to exceed expectations.
