We are looking to hire a part time manager to work weekends in our Health and Fitness Center. This position will require one to work every weekend beginning in October.
We are able to start training for this position as soon as we find the right person. The weekend hours of the Club are as follows :
April through October the Fitness Center is open on Saturdays from 6 : 30 am - 2 : 30 pm. Closed on Sundays.
November through March the Fitness Center is open : Saturdays from 6 : 30 am - 2 : 30 pm Sundays from 8 : 30 am - 2 : 00 pm
The weekend manager will assist in the operations of the club, assist in developing programs for the facility, and maintaining detailed accounting of revenues and changes in membership.
Responsibilities include managing 38,000 sq. ft. facility (private club) with 550 members and staff including exercise specialists, front desk, locker room attendants, laundry attendants, and a barber.
A beautiful and well maintained facility in downtown Pittsburgh, catering to executive level business clientele, who are accustomed to personal service delivered at 100% satisfaction.
The Club features 2 squash courts, massage rooms, Pilates, indoor cycling studio, exercise studio, golf simulator, a barber shop, a dining room that serves breakfast / lunch and three administrative offices.
One should have exceptional customer service skills and management style that focus on service and provides a memorable experience.
One should be friendly and always greet members with a smile and address them by name. Staff must be accommodating and always go the extra mile.
This is a conservative environment. No visible tattoos or facial piercings, men must have hair styled to collar.
Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years management experience with a high level of organizational skills in order to manage all aspects of staffing within facility.
Certification of CPR / AED is required within 30 days of hire. Instructor on site to assist in the training / certification process.
