Apparel Manufacturing Production Coordinator
Our company, located in NYC garment district is a company that designs and imports clothing for Ladies and Children's. We have several licenses including Torn by Ronny Kobo (ladies contemporary), Badgley Mischka (girls dresses & sportswear), Vigoss (girls denim bottoms), and Swimwear (boys & girls).
We are in search for a qualified and experienced production manager to handle the following Responsibilities :
Negotiate prices with the factories and a matrix
Issue PO’s to the factories
Track and monitor shipments
Track and monitor all approval process (lab dips, fit samples, PP samples, TOP samples etc.)
Check and approve care labels and packaging
Check and approve all invoices from factories for bulk shipments and sample charges
Having strong excel knowledge is important to keep up with the WIP report Spreadsheets.
Must be familiar with sourcing into different distribution channels from Off-Price such as TJX Midtier such as JC Penney Department stores such as Nordstrom.
The ideal candidate has familiarity working in textiles and has an understanding of fabrics, trims and other components that go into making a garment.
