Position : Plaintiff's Litigation Paralegal
Location : Denver, CO -Hyrbid
Salary Range : $70,000 - $87,000
Are you passionate about the legal field and dedicated to seeking justice for plaintiffs? LHH is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our client's team in Denver, CO.
Responsibilities :
Case Management : Assist attorneys in managing a caseload of plaintiff litigation matters. This includes organizing and maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and ensuring all case-related documents are filed correctly and timely.
Legal Research : Conduct comprehensive legal research using various resources to support attorneys in case preparation, including identifying relevant laws, regulations, and precedent cases.
Document Preparation : Draft and review legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests, and responses. Ensure accuracy and compliance with court rules and procedures.
Discovery Support : Assist in the discovery process by organizing and reviewing documents, preparing discovery requests and responses, and coordinating document production.
Trial Preparation : Provide support during trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness lists, and assisting with trial logistics.
Client Communication : Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel professionally and effectively. Provide updates on case progress and assist in scheduling meetings and depositions.
Administrative Tasks : Handle various administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining billing records.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree and / or paralegal certificate preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in plaintiff-side litigation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Colorado court rules and procedures preferred.
