Location : Cerritos, CA (On site) Type : Full Time Hourly Rate : $42 - $45 Hour / Flag+
As a Master Certified Drivability Technician, you’re one of the most important team members at Norm Reeves Ford, because you’re responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and diagnostic assessment of Ford vehicles.
You’ll use your knowledge and skills to keep our guests safe on the road, follow safety procedures and regulations, and contribute to Norm Reeves Ford’s reputation for excellence.
What You’ll Do :
- Diagnose mechanical issues, recommended and safety-oriented, and fix them correctly the first time
- Disassemble, diagnose and repair vehicle
- Cleaning and inspection of all parts
- Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
- Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
- Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Deliver guests’ cars every time, on time, as promised
- Take detailed notes during and post-inspection
- Keep work station clean at all times
- Create and maintain loyal service guest relationships
What You’ll Need :
- Minimum of 5 years of Ford Experience (Ford Certificated)
- Full time availability. You’ll also need to be at least 18 years old
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Experience driving a range of vehicles; manual transmission a plus.
