- Acute care experience, preferably med-surg
- Flexibility with schedule
- Meditech charting
- Nursing skill set NGT tubes, IV placement, foley management, etc.

- Rotating Weekends
Unit Specific Information
- Unit Profiles - an exceptional understanding of the unit including location, number of beds, patient ratios, and other unique details.
- Number of Beds - 32
- Number of Staff 50
- Type of staff : Day Shift (1 charge, 6 nurses, 3 PCTS), Night Shift - (1 charge, 5 nurses, 2 PCTS)
- Patient Ratios 1 : 5 or 1 : 6 days, 1 : 6 or 1 : 7 nights
- Type of equipment PCAs, on-Q pumps, Hoyer lift, traction, wound vacs
- EMR - Meditech
- Typical procedures performed on units : Neurosurgeries (kyphoplasty, decompression, laminectomy), fracture repairs / IM nailing, general surgery, Bariatric surgery (gastric sleeve), bladder sling, hysterectomy
- Dress Code - Scrub Color : navy blue
