Senior Safety and Health Manager - Transportation Infrastructure
Job Description :
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Safety Professionals to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for identifying and assessing potential safety hazards in the workplace and implementing effective strategies to mitigate those hazards.
We are looking for someone who is a self-starter. Someone who finds a previously unseen problem and brings awareness to it.
Annual salary within the range of $150,000 to $200,000, commensurate with experience.

- CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician)
- OHST (Occupational Health and Safety Technologist)
- CSPHA (Certified Safety and Health Manager)
- ASP (Associate Safety Professional)
- SMS (Safety Management Specialist)
- STSC (Safety Trained Supervisor Construction)
- STS (Safety Trained Supervisor)
- CUSA (Certified Utility Safety Administrator)
- CUSP (Certified Utility Safety Professional)
- GSP (Graduate Safety Practitioner)
- TSP (Transitional Safety Practitioner)
- CIT (Certified Instructional Trainer)
Responsibilities :
- Implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with approved transportation agency Safety Management System
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and assess compliance with safety regulations
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to reduce the risk of accidents and injuries
- Train employees on safety procedures and best practices
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine the cause and recommend preventative measures
- Keep up to date with new safety regulations and industry trends
- Provide support and guidance to management on all aspects of safety
- Coordinate with other departments and outside agencies to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Qualifications :
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices
- Experience working on public transportation infrastructure or heavy industry projects
- Knowledge of Federal Transportation Administration (FTA) regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
