Job Description
Perform a wide variety of production assembly, development and repair / refurbishment work on complex mechanical and electronic assemblies.
This involves mechanical as well as electrical wiring operations; includes fitting and alignment of parts to close tolerances using appropriate hand and power tools.
Work outside as necessary. Instruct / train co-workers in same or lower classifications on process and equipment operation.
Must work with engineering drawings, schematics, connection diagrams, parts lists, and informal documentation such as engineering sketches, notes, diagrams.
Openings are for second shift (evening shift) but must be able to work any shift if schedules and workload changes force re-balancing between shifts
Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance after start of employment . Obtaining a security clearance requires US Citizenship
Desired skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience working in team environment
- MRP / SAP exposure.
- Lean and Six Sigma exposure.
- Experience in soldering (IPC J-STD-100)
- A&P certificate
- ASE certification
