Direct Care Worker: $500 Sign-On Bonus
Are you passionate about making a difference in someone's life? SIGMA Homecare is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers.
In this role, you will provide assistance and support to children and adults with mental or cognitive impairment and individuals with Intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
No previous experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training to all our employees.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist children and adults with serious emotional disturbance and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
- Document and report any changes in clients' behavior or condition.

Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Compassion and empathy towards individuals with special needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
- Must pass background checks and reference checks.
