Mechanical Engineer

to join our growing Advanced Technology Team (ATG). As a mechanical engineer, you will have the opportunity to Design mechanical systems for new, renovation, and expansion projects.

In this role, you will be working on cleanroom engineering and design (1000k, 100K, 10K, 1K), exhaust system design, Hydronic Systems Design, humidification system design, HVAC design for makeup and recirculation air handling systems.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the design from concept to construction documents for mechanical systems, load calculations, equipment sizing, selection, and layout, and vendor drawing reviews.

You will also work and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (other disciplines, clients, general contractor, subcontractors, architects, AHJ) and endeavor to achieve client satisfaction through effective and positive business relations.

The successful professional has 5+ years of experience in consulting engineering with an A / E firm in any of the following sectors : microelectronics, mission-critical, pharma, lab research centers, or advanced manufacturing.

A Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university or related field and experience using software (such as REVIT, AutoCAD, Trace Trane, MS Office, etc.) is required.

This position offers a hybrid-remote work environment. You must be located in Portland or Hillsboro AND ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE U.

Additional Qualifications :

  • Familiar with Navisworks and Bluebeam.
  • Client-facing / client relationship / client management skills.
  • Construction administration experience is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.

Salary Range : $105,000 - $145,000

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the proposed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, actual role and responsibilities.

The range listed is just one component of Glumac's total compensation package for employees.
