A Day in the Life
Medtronic is intensely focused on creating a workplace environment which reflects our standing as the world’s top medical device company.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the patients we serve and an unrelenting desire to improve our business. You will work on the 2nd shift, 5 days a week Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Leads production teamwork process, equipment testing, manufacturing, disassembly, and reassembly as assigned by supervisor.
- Prioritizes use of operators according to build schedule.
- Communicates process issues and provides status updates to team supervisor.
- Coaches operators / assemblers on production and problem-solving skills, performing technical review and machinery setup / breakdown as needed.
- Ensures Medtronic company quality and safety standards are upheld.
Must Have : Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience providing supervision or mentorship to lower-level production staff.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
- Experienced in training and onboarding. Ability to provide process improvement recommendations to supervisors.
- Problem-solving skills
