Key Responsibilities :

• Team Leadership : Provide managerial direction and supervision to regional department operations, ensuring client needs are met and company objectives are achieved.
• Mentorship : Develop and mentor project structural engineering leads and future managers, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
• Expertise : Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in structural engineering for cross-functional projects, offering guidance and training to junior engineers.
• Quality Assurance : Oversee and implement QA / QC procedures on all engineering deliverables, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Project Management : Manage structural engineering tasks and projects, including budget and profit & loss management for the regional team.
• Hiring and Training : Strategically hire and train staff to meet departmental goals and objectives.

Required Skills :

• EIT Certification : Essential for the role.
• Experience : Minimum of 5 years in engineering, specifically within the telecommunications industry.
• Travel : Willingness to travel and conduct structural investigation visits.
• Site Inspection : Proven experience in site structural inspection work.
• Software Proficiency : Proficiency in structural engineering software such as RISA 3D, Enercalc, tnxTower, AutoCAD, and Mathcad.
• Technical Knowledge : Extensive technical expertise in civil, structural, and geotechnical principles, including relevant design guides and standards.

Preferred Skills :

• Awareness of industry and technology trends in the telecommunications industry.
• Familiarity with construction practices and principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Possession of a PE license is a plus

Education Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering with a focus on Steel, Concrete, and Structural Analysis.

Office Hours :

Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
