Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides day to day oversight and direction to Quality Inspectors
  • Perform First Article Inspections
  • Program inspection equipment effectively and timely
  • Establish proper measurement methods, fixturing, and tool requirements in a
  • timely manner
  • Ensure acceptable Measurement System Analysis is completed
  • Support capability studies
  • Review blueprints for measurement feasibility
  • Generate CMM Set Up Work Instructions
  • Manage and monitor the care and maintenance of automated inspection equipment
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure new product implementations are properly completed in a timely manner

Education, Skills, Training, and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Minimum 2 years of plastic mold injection experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in CMM
  • Knowledge of GD&T
  • Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Manage own time and the time of others
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
