- Provides day to day oversight and direction to Quality Inspectors
- Perform First Article Inspections
- Program inspection equipment effectively and timely
- Establish proper measurement methods, fixturing, and tool requirements in a
- timely manner
- Ensure acceptable Measurement System Analysis is completed
- Support capability studies
- Review blueprints for measurement feasibility
- Generate CMM Set Up Work Instructions
- Manage and monitor the care and maintenance of automated inspection equipment
- Work closely with other departments to ensure new product implementations are properly completed in a timely manner
Education, Skills, Training, and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Minimum 2 years of plastic mold injection experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in CMM
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
- Manage own time and the time of others
- Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
