General Job Description
IES Residential is currently seek a dedicated Foreman to run our jobsite in the San Antonio,Tx area!
Location : Job sites in and surrounding the Dallas , Tx area
Compensation : Depending on experience
Hours : Full-time
- Oversees projects in multi-family homes
- Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned craft workers in accordance with the engineers’ specifications and the National Electric Code
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision
- Maintains working relationship with subcontractors, division managers, and other skilled trades
- Analyzes and resolves work problems
- Maintains knowledge of and enforces company safety rules and procedures
- Quickly corrects any potential hazard or promptly reports the hazard to the responsible person
- Assess material, equipment, and labor needed to complete assigned tasks and ensure all items required are ordered and at the job site in compliance with the scheduled requirements
- Communicate with others, including taking direction from a supervisor and able to give direction in a way that is understood
Minimum Education
High School
Minimum Years of Experience
Specific Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience as an Electrical Foreman in Multi-Family area
- Possess knowledge of the current National Electric Code
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to read and accurately interpret construction electrical drawings
- Demonstrates safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment
- Must have OSHA 10
- Must have Residential Wireman's License or Journeyman's license
- Must have Multi Family experience as a Job Foreman
- Needs 1st aid / CPR.
