CUMC is in need of a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician for coverage in Omaha, NE!

• M-F 8 : 30a - 5p (Clinic - 1 Day no contact day), Call 8a handoff (weekends F / SA / Sun)
• Feb 12 (8a) - Feb 19 (8a)
• Apr 8 (8a) - Apr 15 (8a)
• May 6 (8a) - May 13 (8a)
• June 3 (8a) - June 10 (8a)

Details :

• Duties : Clinic, L&D / PP
• Required Procedures : All standard maternal fetal medicine procedures in a clinic and hospital setting, Obstetrics
• EMR : EPIC
• Support Staff : Front Desk and Clinical Support Staff, including ultrasound on-site
• Reason for Coverage : Physician Resignation
• Deal breakers (do not present this) : Concerns re : quality, malpractice, unable to clear, no recent practice experience

Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility :

Clinic : 15-20 patients per day

• What does day to day look like in the clinic? 8 : 00-4 : 30 ( 45-60 m for lunch) Consults + read only US for MFM and also generalist read, inpatient US consult support, occasional private delivery patients or nurse midwife back up.
• How many patients in the clinic per day and how many admitted in the hospital on average? 15-20 patients / day
• Consultative only? Any procedure or delivery requirements? Consultative, some private OB (can discuss if this is an absolute no)
• Will there be additional MFM on staff? Omaha - Michael Barsoom
• Can you provide the schedule rotation between the facilities CUMC and Lakeside? Depending on candidate comfort - we may house them at one location (ex.

CUMC Bergan and rotate the 2nd physician) this is up for discussion based on candidate pool.

Facility Location : CHI Health Clinic Maternal Fetal Medicine - CUMC Bergan, CHI Health Clinic Maternal Fetal Medicine - Lakeside, CHI Health CUMC Bergan Mercy, CHI Health Lakeside Hospital.

Will the provider be based out of CUMC Bergan Mercy? This is our Primary Omaha "Home Base"

Does PP stand for physician practice? Duties : Clinic, L&D / PP Post Partum

CREDENTIALING INFORMATION :

• Timeframe : 60 - 90 days (will need quick return of application to meet Nov start)
• Credentialing with other facilities? CHI Health Lakeside Hospital
• Billing enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less? : No
• Requirements : Clinic, Hospital, obstetric privileges

Travel Preferences :

• Lodging : Providers must stay at preferred hotels provided by CS. Comfort Suites, Staybridge Suites, Embassy.
• Air Travel : Omaha, NE - Eppley Airfield

Rates to Submit :

• Malpractice rates - Must be included in the rates
• Orientation (half the hourly rate, kicks in after 8 hours) - "Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours"
• Hourly (per hour, not OT) - "Per hour, no OT"
• 24 hour call to include 4 hours gratis - "per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis"
• Night call to include 2.5 hours gratis - "Per night to include 2.5 hours gratis"
• Call back - Must match hourly rate - "per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms"

• Active BLS, DEA, NRP - Required
• Clean Malpractice / background - Highly Preferred
• Local, no flights - Highly Preferred
• Must state availability at name clear - REQUIRED
• Disclose if the provider has worked at any other CHI / Dignity facility - REQUIRED
• COVID VACCINATED - REQUIRED
