Role : Electrical Engineer (Medical Device)
Location : Lake Forest, IL
Duration : 6 Months
Responsibilities :
- Sustain engineering and manage electronic component life-cycles.
- Investigate and document instrument field complaints.
- Use root cause analysis tools for troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems.
- Provide input to cross-functional teams and work with contract manufacturers.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems (ISO, FDA, etc.).
- Maintain professional behavior with internal / external associates.
Education / Experience :
- Degree : BS in Electrical Engineering; MS preferred
- Experience : 3+ years in medical device industry
- Strong understanding of electrical / mechanical design and system interactions.
- Conduct measurements and provide engineering test reports.
- Experience in electronics design with knowledge of EMC, ESD, and Immunity.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
