About The Position
Job Title : Speech Language Pathologist Job Specialty : Rehabilitation - Speech Therapy Job Duration : N / A Shift : Days, 8 hours Monday-Friday Guaranteed Hours : N / A Experience : Minimum 2 years current experience License : Valid Speech Language License in New Hampshire Certifications : - ASHA Certification - BLS Certification Must-Have : - Master's Degree Job Description : Evaluate and treat individuals of all ages with health-related conditions affecting speech-language capabilities.
- Perform bedside swallow evaluations and barium swallow procedures when necessary.- Administer and apply speech-language pathology treatments as prescribed by a referring physician.
- Develop and implement a plan of care using treatment techniques to restore or maximize function and prevent decline following disease or injury.
- Coordinate, supervise, and delegate tasks to supportive staff.- Maintain personal competency and assure compliance with departmental standards.
- Provide input related to departmental budget considerations for optimal patient care and service.- Communicate the organization's vision within the rehab team and through interactions with patients;
align work efforts to support its fulfillment.
